Frontend bytrade, curiousabout the rest
I’m Erfun Ghodoosi. I build fast, calm web products with React and Next.js, and I lead the frontend at Oddrun. 5+ years in, still poking at Go, Android and AI on the side.

A developer who won’t stay in one lane.
Most of my career has been frontend: shipping features, taming performance and making apps feel quick on real phones. But I’m just as curious about Go, Android, backend services and AI-powered apps, and I like understanding the whole product, not only my slice of it.
Today I lead the frontend of Cloopy at Oddrun. I like small teams, clear words and software that respects people’s time.

Oddrun
Senior Frontend Engineer
I work with the Oddrun team, which builds Footballi and Cloopy. Here is what I did on each.

Date: 2025 — 2026

Footballi
Frontend Engineer
I joined Iran's most popular football news app to help rebuild its mobile web on the Next.js App Router, working inside a big Scrum organisation with many teams.
- Built the news feed and live-score experience: infinite scroll, skeleton loading, ad slots and a live match banner.
- Shipped the competition hub: standings, top scorers, fixtures, transfers and players, with smooth two-way infinite scroll.
- Made it findable and fast: meta tags, canonicals and OG images, plus server-rendered first data to speed up loading.

Cloopy
Frontend Team Lead
Cloopy is a football club-management game on the web. I lead its frontend and own the features, the performance and the PWA experience.
- Turned it into a real installable app: install prompt, splash screens, precaching and localised icons, with a smaller entry bundle and lazy-loaded screens.
- Shipped the big features, from the academy and World Cup mode to clans, cups and card collections, plus dark mode and an Android-style redesign.
- Put product data to work with PostHog tracking and A/B testing, and wrote engineer docs and tests so the team moves faster.

Things I made or shaped.

Solfa
# Android · AI-assisted
Turns sound into sheet music. Play, sing or import audio and Solfa writes the melody on a staff, then plays it back on a piano, all on-device with no account. It supports Iranian notation symbols (koron and sori) too.
> Built entirely with AI vibe coding and published on Myket.

Cloopy
# React · PWA
A client-side React application where I am responsible for every feature, the performance budget and the installable PWA experience, as frontend team lead.
> Oddrun

Footballi
# Next.js · App Router
The most popular football news app in Iran. The latest mobile web version runs on the Next.js app directory, inside a big multi-team Scrum setup.
> Frontend engineer · Oddrun

Mefaro
# Next.js · Performance
A product migrated from Vue.js to Next.js, where I improved loading metrics and day-to-day frontend quality.

Let’s build something good
I love talking with new people about any topic, and working with them too. Telegram and Bale are the fastest routes. I check them whenever the internet lets me.
